Veneers are thin, custom-crafted porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth — and they're how dentists fix several problems at once. Chips, deep stains that won't whiten, gaps, worn edges, slightly crooked or misshapen teeth: veneers cover all of it with a surface that looks like ideal natural enamel.
After a design conversation — including photos and a preview of the intended result — we prepare the teeth by removing a thin layer of enamel, take precise impressions, and place temporaries. Your permanent veneers are crafted to the agreed design, then bonded and adjusted at a final visit. The whole process typically spans two to three weeks.
Veneers are a commitment: because enamel is removed, they're not reversible, and they'll need replacement eventually (typically after 10–15 years). They're the right tool for the right smile — and when a patient's goals could be met with whitening and bonding at a fraction of the cost, we say so. You'll get our honest recommendation, not a package pitch.
It depends on your smile and your goals. Some patients need one veneer to fix a single damaged tooth; smile makeovers commonly involve six to eight across the front. We design to your face, not a formula.
Porcelain resists staining better than natural enamel — coffee and wine are far less of a threat. The shade you choose is essentially the shade you keep.
Not the way we do them. Over-white, over-uniform "piano key" veneers are a design choice — a bad one. We match translucency, shape, and shade to look like a great version of your natural teeth.
